MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
LPI, Inc. (www.lpi-inc.com), a leading manufacturer of industrial personnel lift systems and elevated work platforms, and a subsidiary company of Plank Enterprises, Inc., is searching for a MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER to join its dynamic FIRST SHIFT assembly team!

Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as a MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER:
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions and follow established procedures to accurately assemble products
• Mechanical type of assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of measuring and testing devices and assembly hardware
• Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts
• Perform quality testing/inspecting to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
• Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
• Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- An Associate Degree in Maintenance or Electromechanical Technology would be a plus!
- A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Ideally 2 years previous experience with repair and troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
