The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales management activities across channels. Leads, Manages and is Accountable for direction of LPI sales process, staffing, training and performance evaluations of LPI Sales team.  Works with existing major accounts, development in new industries and continued growth in existing market segments and channels. Demonstrates products/services providing product application advice to Customers. Understands, utilizes and updates processes for pricing, quotations, and communication and negotiation of terms & conditions of sales, within the matrix of authority. Develops data relative to marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing, working with Marketing to submit marketing reports to Senior Management. Analyzes sales and Distributor statistics to formulate policies and promote sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – LEAD, MANAGE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Revenue Goals

• Management and development of Sales and Customer Service Team members

• Key Customer Retention and Management and Channel Development and Management

• Quotations and Pricing

• Project Management for order >$1m

• Develop and execute mutual action plans with key sales channel partners

• Create and provide product sales training to channel partners

• Work with Sales Team to demonstrate product capabilities and features at customer locations, tradeshows, etc.

• Develop sales goals for the channel customers and sales teams

• Review customer project applications and generate proposals with assistance from others as required

• Analyze and review sales trends by region and identify opportunities / threats to develop action plans with focus on expanding offerings and business into new markets

• Collaborate extensively with Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service / Sales Team and Purchasing to create strategic and creative solutions for new products and our customer

• Provide input and direction into the new product development roadmap

• Other Duties as assigned

• Must have excellent relationship building skills.

• Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

• Must demonstrate initiative and have ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

• Must demonstrate strong accuracy and accountability skills.

• Must have ability to prioritize work effectively, meet deadlines, and resolve conflicts.

• Ability to develop and effectively present strategy to Senior Management.

• Ability to lead, influence and manage sales teams and independent agencies towards successful results.

• Working Knowledge of MS Office and CRM.

Education and Experience Required

• Business-related Undergraduate degree required.

• Minimum of 5-10 years in sales or business development.

• Experience working in Finishing Industry / Equipment Sales preferably or in a similar capacity.
