Based on 3-Axis lift which allows for travel lengthwise along rails, the 4-axis mast lift's operator platform can be raised vertically and extended out horizontally. It features and additional drive that is mounted on the operator platform that lowers the operator platform approximately 6', allowing the operator access to interior area of parts.  An example of this drop-down axis lift is being able to extend out over the sidewall of a mining dump body or large grain bin and then lowering the 4-axis mast lift's operator platform inside the bin to wash or paint the interior surface of the part.
