Welding, painting and assembling components for the energy industry means navigating complex geometries that go beyond the reach of standard platforms and lifts. In addition, working on transformers and substation equipment without adequate access often results in gaps that compromise production quality. The lineup of scissor lifts and work platforms from LPI solves these challenges with solutions that help improve operational efficiency and workplace safety.
Our scissor lifts and work platforms provide the reach and accessibility required for energy component manufacturing and assembly. We offer standard and fully customizable solutions to meet your needs, whether you’re building residential transformers, industrial substation equipment or similar components.

Lifts should be inspected at least once a year, and more often if they’re used heavily or in harsh environments. Key wear items should be checked during routine maintenance, and any parts showing damage or excessive wear should be replaced right away. We recommend following your facility’s safety practices along with the inspection and maintenance guidance outlined in ANSI A92.22 Sections 5.4 and 5.5 to keep your lift operating safely and reliably.
Installation instructions are located in the Operators Manual that comes with your lift system (located in the plastic holder in the operator platform). Lifts should only be installed by qualified personnel. If you have any questions with regard to the installation of your lifts, please contact LPI customer service or call 1-800-657-6956.
