Primary Operational Features

Key specifications that make the VL Series lift practical and effective for vestibule coating operations include:

• Height range: Standard platform heights range from 6-10ft in 1ft increments from the floor to the platform. Taller heights are available with dual connection points for added stability.
• Platform options: The VL comes in two platform sizes — 36 by 48in or 36 by 60in. Both sizes have 300-pound platform capacities and offer the choice of left-, right- or both-sided entry gates.
• Pneumatic-hydraulic power: The VL requires a 50-scfm, 90-psi clean, dry air supply for efficient operation. Vertical travel speeds are as high as 15ft per minute, with faster speeds available upon request.
• Optional features: This lift can be outfitted with a tool tray, powder gun holster kit, paint gun holster kit and breathing air connection for air respirators.

System Configuration and Safety Features

The VL includes various control and safety systems suited for conveyor-based coating operations, including:

• Control integration: The VL features a mounted control box positioned opposite the entry gate, a fixed hand control with an E-Stop, and base controls for raising and lowering.
• Air connections: The system uses primary 1/2in National Pipe Thread (NPT) and auxiliary 3/8in NPT unoiled air connections with quick-connect fittings and conveyor interlock switch capabilities.
• Safety features: Standard safety equipment includes self-closing entry gates, fall restraint anchor points and a removable, bolt-on front guardrail that meets ANSI requirements.
