Mobile home, modular home and prefab construction projects in controlled indoor environments require access lifts that provide high maneuverability and precise positioning. Workers performing framing, siding, roofing and finishing work need safe and efficient lifts that allow them to change heights without leaving the platform.
At LPI Lift Systems, we offer an extensive selection of standard and custom equipment to cover all your operational needs.
Our lineup includes various lift designs and configurations ideal for the unique applications in off-site construction and prefabrication. Our platforms are compatible with your existing floor layout and equipment, including overhead crane runways, conveyors, mezzanines and egress aisles.
The WCL lift works exceptionally well for this industry because its base design provides clearance over metal trailer frames, allowing workers to maneuver the platform right up to building ends for full access.

Lifts should be inspected at least once a year, and more often if they’re used heavily or in harsh environments. Key wear items should be checked during routine maintenance, and any parts showing damage or excessive wear should be replaced right away. We recommend following your facility’s safety practices along with the inspection and maintenance guidance outlined in ANSI A92.22 Sections 5.4 and 5.5 to keep your lift operating safely and reliably.
Installation instructions are located in the Operators Manual that comes with your lift system (located in the plastic holder in the operator platform). Lifts should only be installed by qualified personnel. If you have any questions with regard to the installation of your lifts, please contact LPI customer service or call 1-800-657-6956.
