Fixed location or manually positioned scissor lift features guardrails that can be laid down onto the operator platform allowing for movement of parts over the lift or storage of the lift underneath products. The platform, with rails in vertical position, provides a complete enclosure with a self-closing, self-latching entry gate at one end of platform. Power unit can be attached to platform or remotely mounted with operator controls attached to collapsible railing.
